My first trip to EGYPT
Hello everybody!!!
I'm just writing you from EGYPT! I'm very excited. Now I'm near The Great Sphinx and The Pyramids of Giza.

I was told that it was built during the Old Kingdom, is modern national icons that are at the heart of Egypt's thriving tourism.

And now I'm coming to the Pyramid of Djoser and I see the roofed colonnade corridor leading into the complex, with stone pillars carved to imitate bundled plant stems.

The Egyptians were one of the first major civilizations to codify design elements in art and architecture. The wall paintings done in the service of the Pharaohs followed a rigid code of visual rules and meanings. Egyptian civilization is renowned for its colossal pyramids, temples and monumental tombs. Well-known examples are the Pyramid of Djoser designed by ancient architect and engineer Imhotep, the Sphinx, and the temple of Abu Simbel. 

Modern and contemporary Egyptian art can be as diverse as any works in the world art scene, from the vernacular architecture of Hassan Fathy and Ramses Wissa Wassef, to Mahmoud Mokhtar's sculptures, to the distinctive Coptic iconography of Isaac Fanous.

Osiris

And now I will have some rest and than I will visit The Great Temple. The hypostyle hall (sometimes also called a pronaos) is 18 meters long and 16.7 meters wide and is supported by eight huge Osirid pillars depicting the deified Ramses linked to the god Osiris, the god of the Underworld, to indicate the everlasting nature of the pharaoh.

It's a very interesting journey!!!! I recomend you to visit this place!! :))))))))))))))))))))))
